About the Role
Joining our growing team, the successful candidate will deliver world-class service by assisting with the operation and management of our IT infrastructure to support our organizational objectives. Our candidate would manage and operate company computer systems, networks, and software applications, including installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software, ensuring cybersecurity, providing technical support to users, and implementing technology solutions to meet business needs.
Job Functions:
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
- Support Linux server environment
- Assist in managing network devices such as routers, firewalls, switches, etc.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and perform troubleshooting procedures as needed
- Assist in establishing and maintaining security protocols and access control
- Monitor system logs for security breaches and unauthorized access
- Provide technical support to employee end users, including workstations, user accounts, email, and access permissions
- Assist in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Perform routine data backups and ensure data integrity
- Maintain documentation and SOP’s
- Assist in evaluating and recommending IT hardware and software purchases
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and testing
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Linux, Windows, VMWare, VSphere, Apache, Bash, Neworking (DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, etc)
- Experience with email administration
- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, virtualization tech, and infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Accomplishing workload within established timeframes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail
- Be able to lift 50 pounds and sit/stand/walk for extended periods on a regular basis
- Have a team-centered focus, possessing a friendly, proactive personal style
- Safety oriented
Preferred:
- Powershell, Wordpress administration, Proxmox, Redmine, Jenkins, phone system experience, Veeam backup and recovery, active directory, Sugar/Suite CRM, Zimbra, Docker,
- Any software development or DevOps
Additional Details:
- This is a full time position and the candidate is expected to work 100% onsite.
- This position regularly requires typical Monday – Friday hours.
